        Division of Marine Products and Enzyme Engineering

        Major research areas of this division: Marine microbial conservation and functional genes; Marine microbial metabolism and regulation, highly efficient expression of heterologous bioproducts; Marine active proteins-Crystallography, structure/function relationship and molecular evolution; Marine active compounds-Structure/function relationship, action mechanism and molecular design; Marine enzyme catalysis and transforming technology; Engineering and application technologies for the exploitation of marine biopruducts.

        In the resent years, we have undertaken many national, ministerial and provincial projects. More than 210 papers were published in domestic and international magazines and 39 patents have been applied or authorized. According to the policy of “Combination of research direction and national objective, original innovation and industrial development”, utilizing the platforms of resource, technology and information promote the research development.
